Driven by the single vision to encourage young girls around the world to memorize the word of Allah SWT, this competition is hosted by Maryam Masud and organized by Qalam Collegiate Academy, along with the East Plano Islamic Center.
The following are the three competition levels.
Group 1: Ages 5 - 8

Ustadh Baajour helped establish Masjid Eissa-Ibn-Maryam as one of the most vibrant Masjids in the NY area. Ustadh Baajour is currently in the process of completing his Master’s Degree in Islamic Education from Mishkah University.

Fawzia Belal
Host
Fawzia Belal serves as the Principal and Dean of Islamic Studies at Qalam Collegiate Academy, the first and only all-girls school in Richardson, TX. At QCA, in addition to her administrative responsibilities, she has also designed a comprehensive learning plan for Quranic Arabic and Islamic Studies curricula to empower students with the requisite knowledge to understand their religion in a perpetually changing world.
Born and raised in Doha, Qatar, she completed her undergraduate studies in English Literature and has worked as a TV and Radio Presenter with Qatar Broadcasting Corporation. She also completed a rigorous 6-year Alima program with Darul Uloom Online and has received Ijaazaat (authorizations) in various Islamic sciences. She then completed a 2-year Takhasus (specialization) program in Tafseer with Mufti Mohammad Talha, Darul Uloom, Deoband. She is currently pursuing Takhassus in Hadith.
She has served on the ISNA Education Forum Planning Committee and presented workshops on Arabic For Understanding the Quran, The Prophetic Tarbiyah Model, and the Spiritual Tarbiyah of Educators, to name a few.

Maryam Masud is a 9th grade student and social media influencer living in New Jersey, USA. She has memorized the entire Holy Qur’an at the tender age of 9.
She is the host of the kid’s program “Quran With Maryam” on multiple Social Media Platforms. She has participated in many national and international competitions, many of which she has won. Maryam has more than 2 million Subscribers/Followers across Social Media Platforms (YouTube and Facebook).
